Albany, N.Y. - New York Attorney General Letitia James has released body-cam video footage from the Syracuse Police Department that was obtained as part of the ongoing investigation into the death of Allison Lakie.
Back in October, Police responded to a home on the 200 block of Ulster Street where they found Allison Lakie with a knife. She had already set her residence on fire. At some point Lakie lunged at the officers and fire crews with the knife in hand, and that's when the four officers shot her. Lakie died at the hospital.
The Office of Special Investigation (OSI) in the Office of the Attorney General released the three videos from responding officers.
Some viewers may find the footage disturbing.
