Four Officers Involved In Fatal Tipp Hill Shooting Identified

Syracuse, N.Y. - We now know the names of the fours officers involved in that fatal Tipp hill shooting last week.

Syracuse Police say Lieutenant David Hart, Sergeant Matthew Liadka, Officer Kenneth Sheehan, and Officer Nicolas Saralegui-Martin are the four officers who fired their weapons resulting in the death of a 33 year old woman. The four have been placed on paid administrative leave until further notice per department policy.

Police responded to a home on the 200 block of Ulster Street where they found Allison Lakie with a knife. At some point Lakie lunged at the officers and fire crews with the knife in hand, and that's when the four officers shot her. Lakie died at the hospital.

The state Attorney General's office is handling the investigation.
