Rochester, N.Y. - A man charged in connection with the deaths of a mother and her little boy is due in a Federal courtroom Thursday afternoon.
Alberto Reyes will be arraigned on new federal fraud and immigration charges. He is accused of misusing a permanent alien card, a Social Security card, and unlawfully re-entering the country after being deported.
Prosecutors in Wayne County say Reyes killed Selena Hidalgo-Calderon and her 14-month-old son Owen last year.
Their bodies were found on a farm in Sodus.
