Three Rome Men Charged In Pellet Gun Incident.

Rome, N.Y. -  Three arrests have been made in a September incident in Rome where a 34 year old was shot with a pellet gun by his friends. 

Rome Police, officers responded to the 100 block of S. Madison Street on Sept. 25 for a report of a possible shooting.

After investigating  they found  the victim was shot twice by a pellet gun by one of his two friends that were on the scene with him at the time police arrived.

Police have announced that the three friends are now facing charges.

Deron Stinson, 35, of Rome, who police said was the shooter, was charged with Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd degree, Making a Punishable False Written Statement and Falsely Reporting an Incident 3rd degree.

Allen G. Lipphardt, 34, of Rome, was charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident in the 3rd degree.

Colton J. Mickle, 28, of Rome, was charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident in the 3rd degree.
