Syracuse police are asking for the community’s help in solving a stabbing that left a 22-year-old man hospitalized in stable condition. Officers responded to the 300 block of Burt Street on Wednesday (April 1) after receiving reports of an injured person around 11:06 a.m.
At the scene, authorities found the man with stab wounds to his chest and thigh. He was initially listed in critical condition at Upstate University Hospital but has since improved to stable condition, according to WSYR-TV.
After their initial investigation, police determined the stabbing actually happened about two miles away, near the intersection of Valley Drive and South Avenue. The investigation remains active, and Syracuse police have not yet identified a suspect.

As police continue their search for the suspect, they encourage community members to come forward with any tips that could lead to an arrest. The investigation is ongoing, and updates are expected as more information becomes available.
