The Syracuse Mets have announced a packed promotional schedule for the 2026 baseball season at NBT Bank Stadium, featuring returning fan favorites and several new offerings designed to enhance the game-day experience. The home opener is set for Tuesday (March 31) at 4:05 p.m. against the Toledo Mud Hens, launching the first Taco Tuesday of the year. If temperatures do not reach 53 degrees at game time, fans can use their ticket for any April or May home game at no extra cost, according to the official Mets schedule.

This season introduces a $149 Fan Pass, which guarantees admission to every home game, making it one of the most affordable ways to catch all the action. Accessibility improvements include a new closed-captioning system, supported by HearingLife, to help all guests enjoy in-stadium entertainment and announcements.

Food enthusiasts can look forward to the debut of Local Eats: A Taste of Central New York, which brings local restaurants and food trucks into the stadium for each full homestand. Over 25 giveaways—including commemorative baseballs, themed jerseys, hats, and beach towels—are planned across the season, with themes and special events scheduled nearly every week.

Opening week also features an Easter Sunday celebration on April 5, highlighted by a pregame egg hunt and brunch as part of Kids Eat Free Family Sunday. From Wednesday through Sunday during the first homestand, kids can get in free as part of the Kid-Stravaganza event.

Fans can expect a variety of unique theme nights, such as "Hot Dogs and Heartbreakers: A Sports Romance Novel Night" in April, the annual "Duel of the Dishes" against Rochester in May, and a playful "Life of a SMets Fan Night" in August. The team will also hold multiple cultural and heritage nights, including three separate Latino Nights honoring Mexican, Puerto Rican, Dominican, and broader Latin cultures, as well as Haudenosaunee, Polish, Irish, and Italian celebrations. More details are available on Our Sports Central.

Long-running traditions return, like Star Wars Day, Bark in the Park, Scooch’s Birthday paired with National Ice Cream Day, Pirates & Princesses Day, and Salt Potatoes Power Move Weekend. Community appreciation nights will also recognize bus drivers, first responders, cancer survivors, and other groups.

The 2026 season concludes with Wall of Fame Day on September 5 and Fan Appreciation Day on September 19. Tickets are available at the Onondaga Coach Ticket Office, by phone, or online at SyracuseMets.com.

All promotional dates are subject to change. For the most current information, fans are encouraged to check the full season schedule online.
