The Syracuse University men's basketball team is set to face the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Mustangs in the first round of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Tournament. Syracuse, known as the Orange, concluded their regular season with a record of 15 wins and 16 losses. Their most recent game ended in a home defeat against Pittsburgh. The team will be looking to rebound as they enter the tournament.
The SMU Mustangs, on the other hand, bring a strong offensive game to the court, averaging 85 points per game compared to Syracuse's 75.2. SMU also holds an advantage in rebounds, averaging 37.6 per game, while Syracuse averages 34.2.
