The North Syracuse Central School District is investigating a racist sticker discovered in a bathroom at Cicero-North Syracuse High School. According to Superintendent Terry Ward, the sticker displayed images linked to a white supremacist group and referenced a non-existent youth club promoting neo-Nazi ideals. Ward emphasized that the message conveyed by the sticker is "completely inconsistent with the values of our district and community." He stated, "Any act that promotes hate, discrimination, or intimidation toward any group of people is unacceptable and will not be tolerated."

The district is actively investigating the incident to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students and staff. The superintendent reassured the community that the school district remains committed to addressing any actions that undermine these values. The discovery has sparked concern among parents and community members, prompting discussions about the importance of vigilance against hate speech and discrimination in schools.

As the investigation continues, the district aims to identify those responsible for placing the sticker and to take appropriate measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
