The doors of a new Taco Bell Cantina open today in Manlius, offering a fresh twist on the traditional Taco Bell experience. Located at 4 Stickley Drive in a historic firehouse, the Cantina features an expanded menu that includes beer, wine, sangria, and frozen alcoholic beverages like Twisted Freezes and canned cocktails. This unique venue is the first Taco Bell Cantina in Central New York and is part of a growing trend, with over 60 locations nationwide since the concept debuted in 2015.

The Manlius Cantina, housed in a building that once served as a fire station, offers seating for 80 to 90 people both indoors and outdoors, and it includes a drive-thru for convenience. The venue promises a lively atmosphere with scheduled events such as trivia nights and live music, including a performance by artist Sydney Irving next Wednesday night.

Construction on the Cantina began in the fall of 2024 after Hospitality Syracuse purchased the former firehouse. The building, which opened as a firehouse in 1968, was closed in 2017 when the fire department relocated.

The Cantina aims to be a community hub, offering a space for events like birthday parties, wedding showers, and corporate gatherings. With its blend of classic Taco Bell favorites and new offerings, the Manlius Cantina is poised to become a popular destination for locals and visitors alike.

According to Syracuse.com, the Cantina will be open from 7 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
