A second arrest has been made in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Manlius in June. Police have taken 20-year-old Dylan Herring into custody, charging him with attempted murder. The incident took place on June 3 when shots were fired from a vehicle in the 7100 block of Minoa Bridgeport Road. According to syracuse.com, the gunfire involved an older model silver SUV and a black SUV. Details about whether the shots were exchanged between the vehicles have not been disclosed.
Herring was arraigned, and his bail was set at $500,000 bond or $100,000 cash. He is currently being held in the Justice Center jail. The first suspect, 27-year-old Kenneth Sullivan, was previously arrested and charged with second-degree attempted murder, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and first-degree reckless endangerment. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
The investigation continues as authorities work to uncover more details about the shooting. Both suspects face serious charges and are awaiting further legal proceedings.
