The Syracuse University men's basketball team will play their final exhibition game tonight (Wednesday, October 29) against Pace University at the JMA Wireless Dome. The game, starting at 7 p.m., will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. Syracuse aims to sweep its exhibition games after defeating the University at Buffalo 76-66 on Saturday.

Freshman forward Sadiq White, who missed the Buffalo game due to an upper-body injury, might return to the court tonight. According to Syracuse.com, White practiced with the team on Tuesday, and his participation will depend on how he feels after the workout. White is a highly-ranked prospect from Charlotte, North Carolina, known for his energy and defensive skills.

The Orange will face Pace University, a Division II team from Pleasantville, New York, that competes in the Northeast 10 Conference. Last season, Pace had a strong record of 24-8. Syracuse previously played Pace in an exhibition in 2021, winning 79-60.

Syracuse, which had a challenging 2024-25 season with a 14-19 record, is looking to improve and return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021. The team will officially start its regular season on Monday, November 3, against Binghamton, also at the Dome.

Fans will be watching closely to see if Syracuse can maintain its shooting accuracy and improve its rebounding and turnover management, key areas for the upcoming season.
