Baker Junior, who was 79 years old, served as the chaplain of the Chittenango Fire Department and was a dedicated member for over 50 years.

Baker Junior's illness was revealed last week, and he had been hospitalized prior to his passing. According to his daughter, he spent considerable time outdoors, which may have led to his exposure to the disease.
