The Syracuse University football team is set to face off against the Duke Blue Devils at the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday (September 27). The Orange, boasting a record of three wins and one loss, are seeking their fourth consecutive victory. The game will kick off at noon and will be broadcast on the ACC Network.
Syracuse is coming off a significant 34-21 win over Clemson, showcasing their strong performance this season. The Orange's pass-heavy offense currently ranks fourth in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), averaging 353.8 yards per game. However, they will face a challenge against Duke's formidable passing attack, led by quarterback Darian Mensah. Mensah ranks third in the FBS with 1,305 passing yards.
The Blue Devils, with a record of two wins and two losses, are looking to build on their recent 45-33 victory over N.C. State. Historically, Duke has a strong record against Syracuse, winning four out of five matchups, including three victories on the road.
