Syracuse drivers will face lane closures on Interstate 690 today (September 19) as part of the ongoing I-81 Viaduct Project. The New York Department of Transportation announced that the highway will be reduced to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The affected areas include I-690 eastbound between the I-81 northbound on-ramp and Exit 14 (Teall Avenue), and I-690 westbound between Exit 14 and Exit 13 (Townsend Street/Downtown) as reported by WSYR-TV.
