BJ's Wholesale Club has temporarily closed its gas station in East Syracuse starting yesterday (September 15). The closure is expected to last approximately six weeks. During this period, crews will undertake renovations at the Chevy Drive location. The project involves adding more fuel pumps and expanding traffic lanes to alleviate congestion near the store.

The improvements aim to enhance customer experience by reducing wait times and improving traffic flow in the area. The renovations are part of BJ's commitment to providing better service and convenience to its members.

Customers are advised to plan accordingly and seek alternative fueling stations during the renovation period. BJ's has not specified an exact reopening date but anticipates the gas station will resume operations by late October.
