The Harlem Globetrotters, renowned for their entertaining basketball tricks and stunts, will be performing at the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica on Friday, January 2. This event is part of their "100 Years of Legacy" World Tour, celebrating the team's centennial anniversary. The tour will kick off on Sunday, December 14, at Madison Square Garden in New York City and will include stops in several countries, such as Italy, Germany, Spain, and Mexico.
The Globetrotters will showcase their signature dunks and tricks against the Washington Generals, promising an exciting experience for fans. The event will also feature new elements, including the debut of a "Golden Basketball" and special 100-year anniversary jerseys. Keith Dawkins, President of the Harlem Globetrotters, stated, "We have challenged ourselves to make sure our business is evolving and reaching the audience wherever they are. The result will be a basketball and entertainment experience like no other."
Tickets for the Utica show will be available to Utica Comets and Utica City FC season ticket holders starting Monday, September 15, and will go on sale to the general public on Monday, September 22. This will be the Globetrotters' first visit to Utica since 2023, continuing a tradition of entertaining audiences in the area since 1960.
