The New York State Fair, which concluded last week, left behind a collection of lost items now held by the State Police at their North Syracuse barracks. Fairgoers who misplaced belongings such as phones, wallets, keys, clothing, and eyeglasses can potentially reclaim them. According to Syracuse.com, the troopers are storing these items at their headquarters on North Constellation Way.
To retrieve a lost item, individuals must call 315-366-6000 to arrange a pickup time. Claimants need to provide a detailed description of the item, show proof of ownership, and present a valid photo ID. The State Police urge those who lost items at the fair to contact them promptly.
As reported by New York State Police, items can be picked up at the Troop D barracks in North Syracuse. Major Kevin M. Reilly, Troop D Commander, encourages those who believe they have lost something to reach out soon.
