The annual Syracuse Irish Festival is set to take place on Friday (September 5) and Saturday (September 6) at Clinton Square, Syracuse. To accommodate the festival, several streets will be closed, and parking will be restricted during the event. According to WSYR-TV, these closures are necessary for the setup, presentation, and breakdown of the festival activities.
Street closures will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday (September 4) and continue until early morning on Sunday (September 7). During this time, some streets will temporarily become two-way to facilitate traffic flow. No parking will be allowed on the north curb line along the Amos Building.
For those attending the festival, parking is available at the Washington Street Garage, located at 340 W. Washington Street, which is open 24 hours a day. More information on parking locations can be found on the Downtown Syracuse website.
The festival celebrates and promotes Irish culture, featuring various events and activities. For more details about the festival, visit the Syracuse Irish Festival website.
