In Syracuse, a significant raid on a home on Mariposa Street led to the arrest of two individuals on Tuesday (August 12). Law enforcement officers executed a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation and discovered cocaine, eight guns, 10 knives, and drug paraphernalia, including packaging and scales. According to the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office, the operation also uncovered ammunition and cash.
The individuals arrested were identified as 41-year-old Nicholas Saint Andrews and 39-year-old Heather Grems. Both were arraigned on multiple charges and are currently being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center. The authorities have not disclosed the specific charges they face, but the presence of drugs and weapons indicates serious legal consequences.
