Syracuse police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Thursday (June 19) in the 1400 block of Midland Avenue. Officers arrived at the scene around 7:11 p.m. and found a 43-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
According to WSYR-TV, the investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made yet. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Syracuse Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division at 315-442-5222.
