Syracuse Police Investigate Shooting After Man Shot in Ankle

Syracuse police are investigating a shooting incident after a 25-year-old man was dropped off at St. Joseph's Hospital with a gunshot wound to his left ankle early Wednesday morning (August 6). Officers responded to the hospital around 2:21 a.m. after receiving a report of the injured man, who arrived by private vehicle. The victim is currently in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.

The police have yet to determine the location of the shooting and are actively seeking information from the public. As of now, no information about potential suspects has been released.
