In Cortlandville, a sedan was fully engulfed in flames early Saturday morning (August 2). Firefighters from the Cortlandville Fire Department responded to the scene on Lighthouse Hill Road shortly after 12:30 a.m. and quickly extinguished the blaze. According to a Facebook post by the department, the fire was contained to the vehicle, and no injuries were reported.
The New York State Police and Ron’s Towing assisted the firefighters in managing the situation. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time. As reported by WSYR-TV, the fire department responded promptly to the call and ensured the fire did not spread beyond the sedan.
The quick response by the Cortlandville Fire Department ensured that the fire was contained efficiently, preventing any further damage or injuries.
