Syracuse University's men's basketball team will host Stonehill College at the JMA Wireless Dome on Monday, December 22. This marks only the second time these two teams will meet, with the last encounter occurring in the 1975-76 season. During that game, Syracuse emerged victorious with a 101-56 win at Manley Field House, shortly before Jim Boeheim became head coach.
Stonehill, led by head coach Chris Kraus, who was named the 2022-23 Northeast Conference Coach of the Year, finished last season with a 15-17 record, including a 7-9 mark in the Northeast Conference.
The addition of Stonehill nearly completes Syracuse's non-conference schedule, which includes 13 games. The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) portion of the schedule is expected to be announced by September.
According to Syracuse Athletics, other notable non-conference games include matchups against Tennessee, Houston, and Kansas.
