Oswego County is reintroducing its Park-N-Ride bus service for the upcoming New York State Fair, providing free transportation to fairgoers. This year, shuttles will be available on both weekend days, unlike previous years when they only operated on Saturdays. The pickup locations include Oswego High School, Cayuga Community College in Fulton, the Central Square Walmart, and Three Rivers Plaza in Phoenix. The service aims to offer a convenient and cost-free way for residents to attend the fair, which runs from August 20 through September 1.

According to Oswego County Director of Mobility Management Heather Snow, the Park-N-Ride shuttles provide a simple and convenient way to get to the fairgrounds, with multiple departure and return times. The buses will drop off and pick up passengers in the Pink Lot across State Fair Boulevard near the Toyota Coliseum.

The New York State Fair offers various parking options for those driving, with parking available in designated lots for $12.41 per vehicle. However, the Park-N-Ride service from Oswego County remains free, providing an affordable alternative for fairgoers.

For more information or to obtain schedules for New York State Fair transportation, residents can contact Oswego County Mobility Management Coordinator Kristen Fragale at 315-746-4221 or via email.
