Syracuse Police Arrest Man in Connection to Woman's Death

Syracuse Police have arrested 56-year-old Anthony Price in connection with the death of Nicole Azzoto, a 40-year-old woman found dead in her home on Glass Terrace. Officers conducted a welfare check on Friday (July 18) and discovered Azzoto's body under suspicious circumstances. Authorities have not disclosed the cause of death or the nature of the relationship between Azzoto and Price.

Price was taken into custody at the scene and charged with second-degree murder. He is currently being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center, awaiting arraignment. The Syracuse Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division is actively investigating the case, conducting interviews and executing search warrants to gather evidence.

According to Syracuse.com, police are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact them. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges against Price may be forthcoming.
