A 16-year-old male has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred in Sandy Creek on Sunday night (July 13). The New York State Police responded to the incident around 11:10 p.m. and found a 21-year-old man with injuries. The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.
Following an investigation, troopers identified the teenager as the suspect and took him into custody. He is facing charges, including felony assault, and was brought to Oswego County CAP Court pending arraignment.
The case is being handled by Troop D Commander Major Kevin M. Reilly. The investigation is ongoing, and further details have not yet been released. The community awaits more information as the legal process continues.
