Centro is inviting residents of Oswego and Fulton to provide feedback on its new "Better Bus" network. The initiative aims to transition the current bus systems to a more efficient fixed-route service, enhancing navigation and increasing frequency for riders. Outreach events are scheduled for Wednesday (July 9) at Towpath Towers in Fulton from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and at the corner of Bridge Street and West Second Street in Oswego from 2 to 6 p.m.

Centro representatives will be available to discuss proposed route changes with the public. These changes are part of a broader effort to improve public transportation in the region. The new routes are expected to launch in January 2026, following a public hearing planned for September 2025.

For more details on the proposed changes, residents can visit Centro's website. According to CNY Central, the "Better Bus" program is designed to make it easier for riders to navigate the transit system and to increase the frequency of service where possible. Centro is also updating its Title VI policies and is seeking public feedback on these updates as well. More information can be found on their website.
