Syracuse police arrested 35-year-old Symone Sanders for her alleged involvement in a stabbing incident on Sunday (June 22) in the 300 block of West Newell Street. Officers responded to the scene at approximately 2:25 a.m. and discovered a 33-year-old woman with a stab wound to her left arm. Fortunately, the victim's injuries are not life-threatening, and she was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Sanders faces several charges, including assault in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, as per New York State Penal Law. She is currently held at the Onondaga County Justice Center.
