The Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame has announced its Class of 2025, featuring prominent figures in the sports community. Among the inductees is three-time Super Bowl champion Tom Coughlin, who made a name for himself as the head coach of the New York Giants, leading them to championships in 2008 and 2012. Coughlin, a Syracuse University alumnus, was the only inductee absent from the announcement event held on Wednesday (June 18) at Driver's Village in Cicero, New York.
Joining Coughlin in the Hall of Fame are Brittany Brigandi, Buddy Hardeman, Christine Lindsay, Frank Riccelli, Bill Sanford, and Kim Sharpe Green. These individuals have made significant contributions to their respective sports and have been recognized for their achievements and impact on the community.
The enshrinement ceremony is scheduled for October 27 at the Oncenter Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center. Tickets for the event will be available for purchase starting in September. The ceremony promises to be a memorable occasion, celebrating the accomplishments of these outstanding athletes and sports figures.
