The fan-favorite JAMS Funk Fest is set to return to the New York State Fair in Syracuse, New York, featuring a full day of music on Saturday, August 30. The event will be headlined by the Grammy-winning and multi-platinum-selling group Rose Royce, known for hits like "Car Wash" and "Wishing on a Star." The performances will take place at Chevy Court, starting at noon and concluding at 9:30 p.m.
The lineup includes a variety of artists, beginning with the youth group CJack Run Presents, followed by Stevie Wolf Blues Express, UAD, The Music of Enchantment featuring David Banks, and The Blacklites. Rose Royce will take the stage at 8:15 p.m., bringing their signature funk and R&B sound to the fairgoers.
According to the New York State Fair, all concerts are included with the price of admission, making it an affordable entertainment option for families. The fair, which runs from August 20 through September 1, offers tickets at a discounted rate of $6.28 through the Star-Spangled Savings promotion until July 6.
Director Julie LaFave expressed excitement for the 11th year of partnering with JAMS, stating, "We’re extremely lucky to have Rose Royce headline a lineup of incredible artists this year, and we know that this slate of performers will have fairgoers young and old dancing along."
