The International Boxing Hall of Fame will host its annual induction ceremony this weekend in Canastota. The Class of 2025 includes renowned boxer Manny Pacquiao, who is currently training for a comeback fight against World Boxing Council welterweight champion Mario Barrios. Pacquiao, who has won championships in eight different weight divisions, will take a break from training to attend the ceremony.
Other inductees include Vinny Paz, Yessica "Kika" Chavez, and referee Kenny Bayless. Actress Sydney Sweeney will serve as the grand marshal for the Parade of Champions. Sweeney is set to star in a film about female boxer Christy Martin, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2020.
The weekend will feature a variety of events, including a 5K road race, a boxing autograph and memorabilia show, live boxing matches, and the annual Banquet of Champions. The induction ceremony will take place at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona on Sunday (June 8). For more details, visit the Hall of Fame's website.
