Marvin Harrison, a former Syracuse University football standout, has been nominated for the College Football Hall of Fame for the eighth consecutive year. Harrison, who is already a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, remains a significant figure in Syracuse's football history, ranking second in both career yards and touchdowns.

The ballot for the Class of 2026, released earlier this week, includes 79 players and nine coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). Notable names on the ballot include Alabama's Mark Ingram, Auburn's Cam Newton, and Pittsburgh's Aaron Donald. Syracuse University has ten former players in the College Football Hall of Fame, with Dwight Freeney being the most recent inductee in 2023.

According to NFF President & CEO Steve Hatchell, "It's an enormous honor to just be on the College Football Hall of Fame ballot considering more than 5.7 million people have played college football and only 1,093 players have been inducted."

The final selections for the Hall of Fame will be announced in early 2026, with the inductees being honored in Las Vegas on December 8, 2026.
