Pride Day Concerts Announced for NYS Fair

The New York State Fair in Syracuse has announced the concert lineup for its 10th annual Pride Day celebration on Friday, August 22. The event will feature performances by Neon Trees, Jessie Murph, The Lady Gaga Tribute, and Lily Rose. These concerts are free with daily admission to the fair, which runs from August 20 through September 1.

The day will kick off with country singer Lily Rose, known for her hit "Villain," performing at 1 p.m. on the Chevy Court stage. Following her, the pop-rock band Neon Trees will take the same stage at 6 p.m. Neon Trees, famous for songs like "Everybody Talks" and "Animal," continues to captivate audiences with their energetic performances.

After the Pride Parade, singer-songwriter Jessie Murph will perform at 8 p.m. at Suburban Park. Murph, who is part of her North American headline tour, will showcase her mix of country and alternative pop music. The day will conclude with The Lady Gaga Tribute band performing at 9 p.m. at Chevy Court, featuring Erika Moul as Lady Gaga.

In addition to the concerts, Pride Day will include a flag-raising ceremony, a comedy show, and a Resource Fair. State Fair Director Julie LaFave expressed excitement about the lineup, stating, "As we highlight our 10th anniversary of Pride Day at the Fair, I can’t think of a better concert lineup and programming to bring together and uplift our LGBTQ+ community."
