The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA) is holding its final open house for the 20-year development plan of Syracuse Hancock International Airport tonight (May 21). The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the J.P. Walsh Conference Room at the airport.

This open house provides an opportunity for the public to learn about the airport's long-term vision and development strategy. Attendees can meet the project team, review critical information, ask questions, and provide feedback on the master plan. The plan outlines the airport's future direction, considering aviation activity forecasts, environmental effects, community compatibility, and financial feasibility.

SRAA Executive Director Jason Terreri emphasized the importance of this plan, stating, "The airport is often the first and last impression travelers have of our region." He highlighted the need to accommodate forecasted traffic levels while maintaining a high-quality customer experience. More information is available on the airport's website, syrairport.org.
