Baldwinsville Woman Dies After Being Struck By A Vehicle Monday

Baldwinsville, N.Y. - A Baldwinsville woman is dead after being struck by a car yesterday.

State Police say 63 year old Richard L. Austin was pulling out of the Dunkin Donuts on Lock Street around 5:30 when he failed to yield the right of way and struck 84 year old Deborah Irwin.

She was rushed to the hospital but died Tuesday May 20th.

Austin remained on scene and is cooperating with Troopers.

The cause of the collision currently remains under investigation by the North Syracuse Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact the State Police at 315-366-6000.
