Rep. John Mannion Hosts First Town Hall in Liverpool

Newly Elected House Members Participate In a New Member Orientation On Capitol Hill

Congressman John Mannion, representing New York's 22nd District, will hold his first Town Hall meeting since taking office in January. The event is scheduled for tonight (May 12) at 6 p.m. in Liverpool, New York. Mannion, a Democrat, will engage with constituents to discuss key issues and his legislative work in the House of Representatives.

Mannion, who previously served as a public school science teacher and New York State Senator, has been active in Congress, introducing the 'Protecting Students with Disabilities Act' to enhance special education programs. He has also collaborated with U.S. Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand to support the civilian workforce at DFAS Rome, highlighting his commitment to education and defense issues.

The Town Hall is open exclusively to residents of the 22nd District. Attendees are required to register individually due to limited venue capacity.
