Motorists traveling near the New York State Fairgrounds in Geddes should expect delays due to lane reductions on Interstate 690 eastbound. The lane reduction, which is in place between Exit 10 to I-695 and Exit Nine, will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays until Tuesday (May 13). This reduction is necessary for ongoing bridge work in the area.
In addition, there is a lane reduction on State Route 695 in Camillus. The northbound section of the highway will be reduced to one lane between Route Five and I-690. This lane reduction is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and will continue until Tuesday (May 20). Crews are conducting milling and paving work as part of this project.
According to CNY Central, all construction activities are weather dependent, and drivers are urged to slow down and exercise caution in work zones.
