Congressman John Mannion, representing New York's 22nd District, will host a town hall meeting on Monday (May 12) in Liverpool. The event is open exclusively to constituents of the district, which includes all of Onondaga and Madison counties and parts of Cortland, Cayuga, and Oneida counties. Due to security concerns, the exact location of the town hall has not been disclosed yet.
Residents wishing to attend must register in advance, either by calling Mannion's office or filling out a form on his official website. Space is limited, and not all registrants may be accommodated. For those unable to attend, the town hall will be recorded and made available online.
The event provides an opportunity for constituents to receive updates on Mannion's work in Congress and to ask questions. The town hall comes at a time when political events across the country have seen heightened tensions, prompting increased security measures.
CNY Central reports that Mannion aims to engage directly with his constituents to address their concerns and discuss ongoing legislative efforts.
