The Manlius Police Department is launching a series of car seat check events starting today (April 9). Parents and guardians are invited to ensure their children's car seats are safe and properly installed. The first event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fayetteville Fire Department.
These car seat checks will continue over the next several months, with events scheduled from May 17 through October 16. For those unable to attend the scheduled events, appointments can be made directly with the Manlius Police Department to ensure car seat safety.
Ensuring the correct installation and safety of car seats is crucial for protecting young passengers. The Manlius Police Department is committed to providing this essential service to the community, helping to prevent injuries in the event of an accident.
