Authorities in Manlius, New York, have located the Jeep belonging to Radu Turner, a person of interest in a fatal shooting investigation. The vehicle was found at the Harborside Manor apartment complex in Salina after a tip from the public, according to the Manlius Police Department. Turner, 48, is suspected of shooting 39-year-old Kenquan Davis following an argument on Elmbrook Drive in Manlius on Sunday (April 6).
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. when Davis, attempting to drive away after a verbal altercation, was shot and crashed his vehicle into a tree. Davis was transported to SUNY Upstate Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The Manlius Police Department, with assistance from the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, the United States Marshal Service, and the FBI, is actively searching for Turner, who has a lengthy criminal history, including past convictions for gun and drug charges.
Turner is described as a six-foot-tall, 155-pound Black male. His last known address is on Elmbrook Drive, and he was previously seen driving a dark gray 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with New York license plates LHX-5697. Manlius Police urge anyone with information on Turner's whereabouts to contact 911 immediately and not to approach him.
A GoFundMe page has been set up by Davis's family to support his loved ones, describing him as an "unbelievable fiancé, father, son, and brother." As of Monday afternoon, the fundraiser had raised $755 of its $20,000 goal, as reported by CNY Central.
