Manhunt Ongoing for Manlius Shooting Suspect

Authorities are actively searching for Radu Turner, a person of interest in a fatal shooting that occurred in Manlius on Sunday (April 6). Turner, 48, is suspected of shooting 39-year-old Kenquan Davis following a verbal altercation on Elmbrook Drive. Davis was found with gunshot wounds inside a car that crashed into a tree on Garrett Drive and was later pronounced dead at SUNY Upstate Hospital.

Turner is described as a 6-foot-tall, 155-pound Black man, last seen driving a dark gray 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with New York license plate LHX-5697. His last known address is on Elmbrook Drive in Manlius. According to CNY Central, Turner and Davis were known to each other, and the shooting occurred after an argument in front of Turner's home.

The Manlius Police Department, with assistance from local, state, and federal law enforcement, is leading the investigation. There is currently no evidence of a threat to the community. Turner has a criminal history, having served time in state prison for drug and weapons charges. The ongoing manhunt involves multiple law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Marshals. Police Chief Jason Cassalia emphasized the importance of public assistance in locating Turner and advised against approaching him directly.
