The New York State Fair has added Yacht Rock Revue to its lineup of artists for the 2025 event. The group will perform at the Chevy Court stage on Friday, August 29, at 6 p.m. Known for their covers of 1970s and 1980s soft rock hits, Yacht Rock Revue will entertain fairgoers with music from artists like Steely Dan, Hall and Oates, and Michael McDonald.
The concert is part of the Chevrolet Music Series and is free with fair admission, which remains $8 for adults. Children under 12 and seniors aged 65 and older can attend for free. The fair, located in Geddes near Syracuse, runs from August 20 through September 1.
Fair Director Julie LaFave expressed excitement about the addition, saying, "We’re excited to add Yacht Rock Revue to our lineup and bring the sweet sounds of summer to summer’s biggest party at the Great New York State Fair."
The fair will feature more than 40 national acts, with concerts at Chevy Court and Suburban Park. The Syracuse.com reports that upgrades are planned for both stages, enhancing the concert experience for attendees.
