Syracuse police have arrested 21-year-old Cashstro Nimmons in connection with a shooting that occurred on Tuesday (April 1) on Catherine Street. The incident left a 19-year-old man injured with gunshot wounds to his left arm and torso. The victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital and is in stable condition.
Nimmons, who fled the scene, was quickly apprehended by police. He faces charges including assault in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the second and third degrees, and criminal possession of a firearm.
