Joey Chestnut, the world-renowned competitive eater and 16-time Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating champion, is set to visit Syracuse for a boneless wing-eating contest on Saturday, April 5. The event will take place at The Wildcat Sports Pub following the Syracuse Mets' game against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders at NBT Bank Stadium. The game begins at 1:05 p.m., with gates opening at noon.

Three lucky Syracuse Mets fans will have the opportunity to challenge Chestnut in a three-minute wing-eating showdown. To enter, fans must comment on the Syracuse Mets' Facebook or Instagram post with the number of Wildcat Sports Pub wings they believe they can consume in three minutes. Winners will be announced next Wednesday.

Chestnut, known for his impressive eating feats, recently ate 240 chicken wings in 12 minutes at the 2023 U.S. Chicken Wing Eating Championship, placing second. His appearance in Syracuse is part of the Mets' 2025 promotional schedule, which includes various themed nights and special events.

Fans attending the game can also purchase tickets for a Joey Chestnut VIP Experience, which includes a pre-game meet and greet with the competitive eating legend. The event is presented by Visit Syracuse and promises to be a highlight for local sports enthusiasts.
