Man In Custody, Girlfriend And His 11-year-old Son Shot To Death

Syracuse , N.Y. - A 43 year old man is in custody in regards to a double homicide in Syracuse.

Police found David Huff, near the scene of the crime Tuesday morning after a tip from a citizen.

Monday night Syracuse Police discovered the gruesome scene where a 33 year old woman, Huff's girlfriend and Huff's 11 year old son, Jerimiah, were shot dead inside a home on Roney Road.

Huff evaded Police for almost 12 hours, until they found him on West Seneca Turnpike around 9:30 Tuesday morning

Jerimiah Huff has been identified by the North Syracuse School District as a sixth grade student at Gillette Road Middle School.

David Huff is to be arraigned tomorrow morning and is expected to be charged with first and second degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
