An arrest has been made in connection with a robbery that took place at Chadwick's Sports Bar and Grill in Syracuse last month. The Syracuse Police Department announced that Sharod Mallory, 33, was taken into custody for his alleged involvement in the incident on February 25. Mallory is accused of robbing a bartender and a customer at gunpoint around 11:15 p.m. that night.
According to the police, Mallory forced the victims into the basement of the bar, where he stole approximately $400 in cash and a cellphone before fleeing the scene. During the robbery, one shot was fired, but fortunately, no one was injured.
Mallory now faces multiple charges, including robbery in the first degree, kidnapping in the second degree, criminal use of a firearm in the first degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. He was arraigned and is currently being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center.
