Police Investigate Deadly Stabbing at Syracuse Apartment

Syracuse police are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred early Tuesday (March 4) at the Parkside Commons apartment complex on East Fayette Street. Officers responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a stabbing in a hallway around 4:20 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a 44-year-old man with a stab wound to the neck. The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital, where he later died from his injuries, according to police spokesperson Kieran Coffey.

The Syracuse Police Department has urged anyone with information about the incident to contact their Criminal Investigations Division at 315-442-5222. The investigation remains active and ongoing, as officers work to determine the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
