Syracuse Sees 17% Surge in One-Bedroom Apartment Rents

The online marketplace reports a 17.1% rise in rental costs compared to February of last year. Currently, the median price for a one-bedroom apartment in Syracuse is $1,230, while two-bedroom apartments have a median cost of $1,460.

This increase places Syracuse as the 65th most expensive rental market in the United States, with New York City leading the list at a median rent of $4,330 for a one-bedroom apartment. The national average for one-bedroom apartments rose by 2.9% to $1,525, while two-bedroom apartments increased by 3.7% to $1,905, as reported by CNY Central.
