Syracuse Police Seek Suspect in Fatal Stabbing

The Syracuse Police Department is actively searching for a suspect involved in a fatal stabbing that occurred on Wednesday night (February 5) on Richmond Avenue. The victim, identified as 23-year-old Latommie Bell, was found with a stab wound to the chest. Despite being rushed to Upstate University Hospital, Bell succumbed to his injuries.

Police initially responded to a report of a shooting on the 300 block of Richmond Avenue around 9:30 p.m., but upon arrival, they discovered Bell had been stabbed. The exact location of the incident remains unclear as the investigation continues. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Syracuse Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at (315) 442-5222.

According to Syracuse.com, the police are still piecing together the details of the incident. The community is encouraged to assist in the investigation to bring the perpetrator to justice.

WSYR-TV also reported that the police have not yet determined the exact location of the stabbing, which adds complexity to the ongoing investigation.
