Oneida County deputies have identified the victim of a fatal snowmobile crash in Camden as 24-year-old Dylan Dailey from Kunkletown, Pennsylvania. The accident occurred on Wednesday night (January 22) on trail C4 near Hanifin and Shultz roads. According to authorities, Dailey lost control of his snowmobile while attempting to navigate a sharp curve, causing him to strike several trees and be ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office suspects that speed may have played a role in the crash, but the investigation is still ongoing. Dailey was accompanied by another individual on a separate snowmobile, who was also involved in the crash but was not injured.

The investigation is being conducted by the Oneida County Sheriff's Criminal Investigations Unit, with assistance from the Recreation Unit, Forensics Unit, New York State Police, Taberg Fire Department, Kirks Towing of Lee Center, The Shop Collision of Camden, and the Onondaga County Medical Examiners Office. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
